We see ads for those products everywhere and almost everyone discussion about them or uses them, but not a lot of people actually discuss about ebook readers or use them a lot. Ironically, they are a technical improvement that isn’t advancing much. Some might see this as a good thing because people are seemly more and more dependent on technology and it seems like only a matter of time before all of life goes digital. The advantage of this is convenience, but the flaw is that we are thinking of more ways to not have to think for ourselves. It is sort of refreshing that people are still risking paper cuts and not opting for painless button pressing.
However, others might point to opportunities we miss when we desire not to advance technologically. adopting ebook readers could potentially save a lot of time and money. Heaps of paper would no longer have to be printed and tons of data could be transmitted in a short time, which would be great for business and education. But somehow the fact remains that as something is gained, something else is inevitably gone. Whether it is for better or for worse, the birth and life of ebook readers already contributes to the downfall of literature as we once knew it.

I’m interested in getting one and my local store has both the 700BC version and the 505RC version. I understand that the 700 is the newer model. What i’m wondering is what makes it better then its previous version. and also, and this is VERY IMPORTANT to me, do either of the digital books have a book mark feature where I can save my place in a book and instantly go back to that direct page. Instead of just flipping page after page till I get there?
