My life consist of books, and I do all of my reading on the computer with pdf files. After a fight with my mom, my computer isn’t working very well, and only works at all through safe mode. Since my birthdays in a few weeks I thought maybe I could look into the digital readers. It has to except pdf formats since all of my books are pdf and I really don’t want to have to replace about 500 books. Since my little sisters birthday is a few weeks before mine and then my grandma’s and uncles are all right before mine, it can’t be too expensive if I’m going to have any chance of talking my mom into it, even for a birthday-christmas present. I want something I can take to school and have on the bus and other places where I couldn’t bring a computer, since my collection of actual paper books is pretty pathetic and I want to be able to read during my free time. Which device is the easiest to use, takes pdf, cheapest, durable? Something not big and bulky that could go in my backpack or purse and wouldn’t be hard to read in class w/o drawing too much attention.
